Progress How Novel 79

 With the renewed interest in my older Elemental Voice series I decided to do either Book 4 (wind whisperer) or Book 3 of the companion series (Deadly Waters) after I finish Book 2 of Ghostwolf. Maybe both of them. :) Though probably not. I want to get the Ghostwolf series out.

Book 2 (The Riven) is coming along slowly but surely. The Ruv and Hanlan want to tell the tale their way, not mine, but I'll be done on time. This series has an overall arc and the arc in each book moves it closer to the reveal at the end.  Book 1 is the prequel, the intro, and this book starts the arc fully. In little over a month (or maybe 2 😏 ) you'll get to read the next venture into the Del Mulanti Ruv's world. However if you haven't already,  you can meet the MCs and read the first venture into their world with Raven Manor.

Progress How Novel 78

Working on the confrontation. 

And there is a surprise. 

Catching the criminal is not always the end. There is sometimes other things that need to be completed and looked into before all is done. Something dismissed before suddenly shows in a different light. Little things suddenly take on new meaning. 

The characters are whispering to me.

And the idea is still percolating!

 In 2 months (or maybe 3 😏 ) you'll get to read about Hanlan's next venture in the Del Mulanti Ruv's world. Been a bit of a delay. However if you haven't already,  you can catch up with Raven Manor.

Book 2 (The Riven) is coming along slowly but surely and should be done by the new deadline. The Ruv and Hanlan want to tell the tale their way, not mine. And my publisher is booked up. 

Book 3(Remnant) is going to go more into the Ruv's history and make some of them look more into themselves. Though I've added some more history already in Book 2 than I originally wanted but the characters were insistent. I just hope it doesn't come across as an info dump.

Book 4 (The Revenant) goes into the history of city's Hunters a bit. Ambition can be deadly as the Hunters--and the Ruv--find out.  And you should leave sleeping dogs lie.

This is all the planned story ideas I have for the Ghostwolf series so far. However I have a vague idea for a Book 5 where the Ruv reveal themselves to the human world. But these four are all I plan to do right now before switching to work on another series. This series has an overall arc and the arc in each book moves it closer to the reveal at the end.  But unless Book 5 reveals itself more that reveal may be a while. Hopefully by the time I am done with Book 4, it will have informed me that it is ready to be written.

Progress How Novel 77

 Received the small batch of books for the Conference with the new covers. Gonna order another small batch next month. My disposable income isn't. I'll only have a small amount of each book, but I'll be able to pass out my cards to everyone.  

I'm working on four books right now, Book 2 and 3 elementals. The elemental ones forced their way in in my bout of writer's block. And they keep giving me flashes. One is Deadly Waters, the third book in the Elemental Voice Companion Series. The other two are new novellas, The Elemental Detective and The Null Agent. 

But Book 2 is my priority.  The Ghostwolf Series is at the top of my queue.

Now on another note:

Everyone celebrates St. Patty's Day, but March 17 is also The Feast of St. Gertrude, patron saint of Cats. I wear the green for St. Patty, but I also celebrate my cat. Not just on this day but every day I'm graced with her presence.

Progress How Novel 76

I don't do resolutions. They rarely last past February--for anyone. I do however set little goals that I want done through out the year. This year most of them were about my books as I found personal ones definitely don't last with me. There's always an excuse. But with my books I don't let myself slack off so much.  Two are done and I'm working on the rest.

Mainly finishing and publishing Book 2 of Ghostwolf. That is the big little goal I set myself this year. 

I have slacken off with marketing though. My Amazon ads are still running but I haven't made any new ones or really pushed these books on social media. I am pushing my old Urban Fantasy Series though as that was part of one of my goals. When Book 2 is live, I will do a big push of both Book 1 and Book 2. Meanwhile I'll concentrate on my writing.

Progress How Novel 75

 Three and a half months till Between the Pages Writers Conference in Springfield, Missouri at the Double Tree Hilton. You can find their info here BTP Con

I'm going to have a table there. June 17, 18, and 19th. Going to have my new book The Dragon's Keeper as well as my other books, including my Elemental Voice books with their new covers.  I'd like to have Book 2 of Ghostwolf but I don't think that's happening. However I get to network with other writers and learn new things. If you want to meet some Indie writers (and maybe a few Trad) come and have a fun experience learning writing.

I'm also doing two local festivals this year. They are open and free to the public. I did them last year and plan to do them again. More about them later closer to time. Unless you want to look the one up on here under September of last year in the blog archive.
